An earthquake registered 7.8 on the Richter scale rocked the central area of Nepal on Saturday morning, April 25.
Buildings were damaged, at least 2,500 people were killed as of press time.
The epicenter was located around 80 km northwest of Kathmandu, Nepal’s capital, according to a report from Time. The same report mentioned some avalanches in Mount Everest.
