Panasonic T50 Launches In Indian Market With New SAIL UI

Japanese multinational company, Panasonic, has just released its latest offering which is the Panasonic T50. The latest budget smartphone from the electronics firm is launched in the Indian Market this Thursday, March 10.

The latest Panasonic phone comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA display that has a 480 x 854 pixel resolution. According to Indian Express, it runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with the company’s Sail user interface on top of it. The latest to join the T series range of Panasonic is dual-SIM enabled. It supports 3G on one SIM ad 2G on the other one.

Gadgets 360 adds that the phone has a body dimension of 131.7 x 66.3 x 8.8mm. It runs on a 1.3 GHz quad core processor and comes with a RAM of 1GB plus an internal storage of 8GB which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It is powered by a 1600 mAH non removable battery. It supports Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and 3G in terms of connectivity options.

The latest phone from the Japanese company also sports a 5 megapixel rear shooter with a LED flash and a 2 megapixel front shooter made for selfies. Panasonic T50’s new SAIL cameras, according to Fone Arena, has nine beauty camera modes, pose mode, child mode, watermark and also several other features.

The latest Panasonic phone, which comes with a customized SAIL UI, has interesting features such as the Batch Arranging for launcher which helps consolidate multiple applications into batches like its “frequency of usage,” “genre” etc.; Gesture Control which allows owners to access multiple features and operations directly; Theme Club that has several free themes, and many more.

According to Panasonic India Business Head, Mobility Division Pankaj Rana, the latest release of the phone in the Indian market is “a novelty because it arrives with the launch of Panasonic’s in-house software, the SAIL user interface. “ Rana said that the UI is even “integrated into a specialized SAIL camera.” Panasonic T50, according to him, is an app-driven device which “combines 3G connectivity and multi-app smoothness for a flawless user experience in a handheld device.” The new budget Panasonic T50 comes in three color variants which are midnight blue, rose gold and champagne gold. It is currently priced at 4,990 INR.
