‘One Punch Man’ Season 2 Release Date Set In October? OVA 6 Out By May 27

As fans have been awaiting updates of “One Punch Man” season 2, a recent report suggested that it will be released by October this year.

Fandom Post, however, did not specify an exact date.

When it comes to the anticipated plot of the Japanese series’ second season, the site shared that Saitama would continue his quest for the evil villain who can equal his unusual strength and someone would not be easily defeated by just one punch.

The cast for the upcoming season of the anime adaptation of the manga series would, reportedly, still include Makoto Furukawa to voice Saitama, Kaito Ishikawa for Genos, Yuuki Kaji as Speed of Sound Sonic and Aoi Yuki as Tornado of Terror.

Meanwhile, Shingo Natsume would continue to direct “One Punch Man” season 2 based on the scripts of Tomohiro Suzuki, while Chikashi Kubota would be taking the challenge of designing the characters.

While fans await the release date of the widely-popular series, the report disclosed that they can look forward to the sixth volume of the “One Punch Man” original video animation or OVA. This will be out by May 27.

The anticipated OVA, which is already the final piece of the cover artwork for the series, will also include the Clean Opening, Clean Closing, 11th and 12th Theater Pieces, Drama CD, Booklet and Audio Commentary.

As what Otaku Tale dished, the last OVA before “One Punch Man” season 2 starts airing, is entitled “Fukanou-sugiru Satsujin Jiken (The Murder Case that is Too Impossible).”

The first five OVAs, on the other hand, are “Shinobiyori Sugiru Kage (A Shadow That Snuck Up Too Close),” “Hanashibeta-sugiru Deishi (The Pupil Who Is an Extremely Poor Talker),” “Kojire-sugiru Ninja (The Ninja Who is Too Complicated),” “Gouin-sugiru Bang (Bang, Who is Too Overbearing)” and “Iroiro Ari-sugiru Kyoudai (The Sisters Who Have Too Many Things Happening).
