Nicki Minaj does not like being disrespected in any way. She threw a security guard’s phone away because he was using his phone while she was performing. Rumors have it though that Minaj was in bad mood because she did not want to go on tour overseas and leave her man Meek Mill unmonitored. Is she afraid of her Mill cheating?
According to Hollywood Life, the 33-year-old Trinidad and Tobago-born singer-songwriter “doesn’t have time for any nonsense.” A security guard using his cellphone while she’s hard at work at her Dubai concert, singing “Feeling Myself” to her fans? Not okay.
Hollywood Life reported that Nicki Minaj was majorly pissed that the guard was on his phone while she is performing. Allegedly, the former judge of “American Idol” immediately headed towards his direction, grabbed his phone then threw it away.
Disrespected or just not in the mood? According to Hollywood Life, the multi-awarded artist, who has been busy since her latest album “The Pinkprint” was released, is secretly worried that her boyfriend is cheating on her. As such, she really did not want to do the tour because then she will not be able to keep an eye on her man. But she went ahead anyway.
“People see Nicki as this superwoman who has the golden life but what they don’t know is that she still has feelings and she’s not immune from getting hurt,” a source claimed. “She was nervous to leave Mill alone while she went to South Africa because she thought he’d cheat on her,” the source added. Reportedly, Minaj and Mill just recently reconciled after a three weeks breakup, and they are still far from being okay.
Minaj recently opened up about her relationship with Mill and revealed how serious it was. One more ring and she can officially consider themselves engaged! The “Playtime is Over” singer shared in her interview with Billboard that she is still not yet engaged because Meek is yet to propose, although he already hinted that he will.
“I’m not engaged yet,” she dished. “He said that my third ring would be my engagement ring. But sometimes he calls me his fiancée, and I’m always trying to stop him, like, ‘Nope! I ain’t got that third ring yet!’” The “Anaconda” singer pointed out that she and Mill are “just taking it one step at a time.”
