“X-Men” actor Nicholas Hoult and “Game of Thrones” star Joe Dempsie will be the headliners for this year’s AsiaPOP Comicon in Manila.
The 26-year-old actor, who also starred in the movie “Jack the Giant Slayer,” is set to talk about his upcoming film “The Rebel in the Rye” which he just finished filming with director Danny Strong.
Nicholas Hoult will also talk about his role as the young J.D. Salinger who is one of the most popular classic writers of his generation, with his famous book, “The Catcher in the Rye.”
The English actor portrays the author’s story as a writer, his experiences in the military services and his first heartbreak. J.D Salinger died in 2010.
Meanwhile, Joe Dempsie of “Game of Thrones,” will also shed light on fans’ pressing questions about the hit HBO television series.
The actor, who plays as Gendry, was also part of the cast for “Skins,” “Peak Practice,” “Doctors,” and “The Fades.”
Adding to this of Hollywood stars who will land in Manila for the AsiaPOP Comicon are “The Vampire Diaries” star Claire Holt and hit television series “Stranger Things” star Milli Bobby Brown.
The 12-year-old Millie Bobby Brown, who plays as psychokinetic Eleven in the highly-acclaimed series, was lauded for her acting.
Starring opposite Winona Ryder and David Harbour, the young actress has earned the praise of Variety’s Maureen Ryan.
“Millie Bobby Brown is about to be cast in a lot of projects. With a very small number of lines, Brown gave an indelible performance as Eleven,” the critic said. “The ways she subtly yet movingly conveyed fear, sadness, doubt, love and a yearning for connection will stay with me for a long time.”
Fans will also be treated a special premiere of never-before-seen footages of Marvel movies and a grand showcase of Marvel content in the fields of movie, television and gaming in the AsiaPOP Comic-con in Manila.
