Moments after Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump claimed that he liked the sound of babies crying, Donald Trump kicked out a baby and a mother.
The incident took place at a Virginia rally. Trump had said initially not to worry about a crying baby, as he loves them.
“Don’t worry about it. I love babies. I hear that baby crying, I like it. What a baby. What a beautiful baby. Don’t worry, don’t worry,” Trump said.
“The mom’s running around like—don’t worry about it, you know. It’s young and beautiful and healthy and that’s what we want.”
Trump was talking about China and how the Chinese had absolutely ripped America to shreds. He had finished the line when he turned back to the woman with the child. “Actually, I was only kidding, you can get the baby out of here,” the Republican nominee said, while the audience resorted to laughter and applause.
Trump said he believed the mother of the baby trusted his statement that he loves having a baby crying while he is speaking.
“That’s OK. People don’t understand. That’s OK,” he said.
The Republican presidential candidate has a history of banning people from his campaign. Earlier he banned reporters from the Washington Post, while anti-Trump protesters were routinely taken out of rallies, said RT.
Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine cracked a joke regarding this whole baby issue. Kaine was discussing education and job training when he recalled the ordeal with the crying baby.
As he spoke at a rally in Daytona Beach, Kaine said he had seen the Republican candidate kicking out a baby from his rally. “So as I’m thinking about pre-K, sometimes you wonder who the baby is, right? You wonder who the baby is.” Kaine said.
