Samsung S7 has been recently launched and retailers are trying their best to pull the crowd to their stores. But these phones, no matter how much people want them, are so expensive that fans cannot afford them. Carriers and other retailers are trying their best to offer the best price they can to customers and increase the number of buyers.
Best Buy, Amazon and Walmart are already offering discounts on Samsung S7 phones, and now Newegg has joined the list. On Best Buy, one can buy the phone for $680, on Amazon the device is being sold for $645. On the other hand, Newegg is selling unlocked Galaxy S7 32 GB model for $600. Compared to other sellers, this is the cheapest price. But there is a catch.
Tech Times report says that “the retailer points out that the Galaxy S7 on offer will not work on CDMA networks and is compatible only on GSM networks, which means the smartphone will work on T-Mobile and AT&T in the United States.” As you know the carriers are competing with each other to pull Samsung S7 fans by coming up with different upgrade programs like Galaxy Forever. It now looks like that they are going one step further and tying up with third-parties to offer exclusive deals in order to beat their competitors. Though out subtly, it is very clear that this Samsung S7 offer is promoting At&T and T-Mobile more than the Samsung’s latest flagship phones.
