The highly awaited “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” which is scheduled to hit the silver screen by September, is going to get an extended collection of merchandise that will be released within a few months. The Force Awakens Lego images reveal an X-Wing along with the Millennium Falcon.
The pictures were posted on the Star Wars Lego fan site From Bricks to Bothans. Obviously, the pictures gave fans new insights about the new Star Wars.
The Falcon has a look that justifies its name and the X-Wings that have been already shown in the trailers come with 4 separate figures. The set of figures make it clear that the characters are members of the Rebel Alliance no more; rather the heroes in “The Force Awakens” are now known as the Resistance. BB-8 is also mentioned as being able to work as a droid co-pilot in an X-Wing just like R2-D2.
The Millennium Falcon, on the other hand, is a new model that comes with changes from the last 2011 release. The rectangular radar dish is a new addition. In the set, new characters, Tasu Leech and a Kanjiklub gang member has also been added.
However, not much information about these characters is available. Most probably, Tasu is an associate of the “Kanjiklub Gang” which has some hostility with the Falcon crew. Now the obvious question arises: who is playing the role of Mr. Leech?
However, fans are fans, and Entertainment Weekly went the extra mile to find the actor who resembles Tasu on the IMDB page of “The Force Awakens;” it is Yayan Ruhian, who played the role of Mad Dog in “The Raid: Redemption,” released in 2011. No confirmation from Ruhian or Lucas film was available.
