Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life spoilers reveal that the reunion will premiere on Netflix sometime around Thanksgiving. It is going to be aired either on the Tuesday before the occasion or the Sunday that follows it.
“I have no idea if either date is true, but the former makes a lot more sense than the latter,” entertainment writer Michael Ausiello said on TV Line. “I mean, why would Netflix drop the four movie-lets at the end of a four-day weekend versus at the start? Of course, none of this really impacts me since I’ve already seen them all.”
While Gilmore Girls revival will only have four episodes, there is no reason for fans to think it is not enough since the running time of each episode is 90 minutes. Moreover, each of the four episodes will focus on one season of the year, that is, winter, spring, summer and fall.
Lauren Graham will continue to play her role as Lorelei Gilmore. Graham was seen on “Parenthood” for six seasons back to back, after Gilmore Girls went off air. The reunion has come at a time when there were already talks on a possible revival of the series.
The other cast members of the Gilmore Girls: A year in the Life include Kelly Bishop as Emily Gilmore, Jared Padalecki as Dean Forester, Keiko Agena as Lane Kim, Scott Patterson as Luke Danes, Matt Czurchry as Logan Huntzberger and Milo Ventimiglia as Jess Mariano.
Alex Kingston, 53, River Song of Doctor Who credit, will also be starring on Gilmore Girls revival.
“I play a very eccentric character in a couple of those episodes,” Kingston was quoted as saying at Supercon in Miami this week by the Radio Times. “It was so funny for them to sort of reboot it again. Alexis…she’s all grown up. She’s got a baby. I remember when she was so young.”
