Netflix made a public declaration about the comeback of the second season of the highly-anticipated American web series “Marvel’s Daredevil.” The second season of the critically-acclaimed series will premiere on March 18, 2016. Netflix, a global provider of streaming movies and TV series, made the announcement via Twitter and Facebook.
According to Collider, Marvel’s Daredevil, which stars English actor Charlie Cox portraying Matthew Murdock and the Daredevil, has paid attention on the arrival of Jon Bernthal as The Punisher. The forthcoming season will also bring twists for characters Karen Page and Foggy Nelson.
The official synopsis for the upcoming season, with thirteen one-hour episodes on March 18, tells about how Matt Murdock (blinded as a young boy, gifted with extraordinary senses) fights against injustice by day as a lawyer, and as the hero Daredevil by night, in modern-day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.
Marco Ramirez is the executive producer of season 2. Ramirez is joined by Douglas Petrie (famous as writer, director, and co-executive producer on Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Marvel’s Head of Television, Jeph Loeb.
As stated by Screen Rant, Netflix unleashed two new spots showcasing Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen Page and Elden Henson’s Foggy Nelson in the final run-up to Daredevil season 2’s premiere.
