Have the Chicago Bulls called the Sacramento Kings with an offer for the controversial big man DeMarcus Cousins? Popular NBA writer Chris Sheridan has released a bit of information.
Sheridan posted then erased a tweet saying that the Chicago Bulls are among the three teams in pursuit of DeMarcus Cousins along with the Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics, according to the Inquisitr.
Chicago Bulls’ style of operation is different. None of their front office bearers would say anything till the deadline. They would choose to remain silent after that. The Bulls approach silently. GM Gar Forman is a true conservative in this regard, as his team won’t reveal any interest even till the deal is ratified. But he and vice president John Paxson aren’t satisfied with the 27-25 record.
But the Sports Talk radio of Chicago wasn’t silent. They went gaga over the Sheridan report of Bulls’ offer for DeMarcus Cousins, creating a stir among Bulls’ fans. Cousins has been defensive regarding trade rumors throughout the All-Star weekend. Neither did he slam Kings’ coach George Karl, as reported by The Sun Times.
Bulls’ best player Jimmy Butler is injured along with Joakim Noah and Nikola Mirotic. Without an aggressive deal before the deadline, are the Bulls anywhere in the playoff picture?
One can’t rule out DeMarcus Cousins’ possibility of landing at Chicago due to this reason.
