Kyle Korver is the most welcome guy in Cleveland. LeBron James and company are considering Korver as a “dream target.”
Why is Korver so desperately needed for Tyronn Lue‘s team? The Hawks man can utilize the floor with his impeccable three-point shooting. This would help the Cavs spread the floor. The 35-year-old Korver becomes a free agent in 2017. Currently, he is shooting 38.6 percent three-pointers from 49.2%.
Moreover, the Cavs are shopping Iman Shumpert ahead of the deadline, as reported by Real GM. Shumpert re-signed with the Cavs last season on a $40 million, four-year contract but didn’t live up to expectations.
The Cavs want Korver and Ben McLemore to replace Timofey Mozgov and Iman Shumpert. Acquiring Korver won’t be tough for the Cavs, as the Hawks are willing to sell off their core including Korver and Al Horford, as reported by Morning News USA.
