NBA Trade Rumors: Bulls Offer Taj Gibson To Raptors For Patrick Patterson?

Rumors are turning to offers with the NBA trade deadline approaching. The Chicago Bulls have offered Taj Gibson to Toronto Raptors in exchange for Patrick Patterson.

Rumors are turning to offers with the NBA trade deadline approaching. The Chicago Bulls have offered Taj Gibson to Toronto Raptors in exchange for Patrick Patterson.

The Raptors are desperately eyeing for a power forward like Zach Randolph or Kenneth Faried, but they haven’t shown much interest, reports Fansided. ESPN’s Zach Lowe first pointed out that the Bulls offered forward Taj Gibson to Raptors 48 hours before the trade deadline.

A month ago, Gibson was shopped by the Bulls. But no trade was worked out. The Bulls are ready to send their best defender and one of the best rebounders to one of the Eastern Conference contenders.

But the offer hasn’t drawn interest from the Toronto camp yet, but it means that any other team can pounce on Gibson. Another reason that goes against this proposed trade is that the Raptors love their 26-year-old forward. Patterson has underperformed this season and has posted numbers way below his individual standards, but still, Toronto wants to hold on to him, according to SB Nation.

Both Patterson and Gibson have one year of their contract remaining. Where shall Gibson finally land?
