The Philadelphia 76ers have an overloaded frontline and it seems that Nerlens Noel will be the one to go. It was previously believed that it would be a toss-up between Noel and sophomore Jahlil Okafor though the former seems to be the logical bet.
Injury Prone And Leaving Anyway?
Noel has been victim to knee injuries and that places a big question mark on his head. Aside from that, he is expected to opt out and test the market after the 2016-17 NBA season, all the more justifying why he should be the one to go, Bleacher Report reported.
Both Noel and Okafor have been in the trade rumor mill for quite some time with plenty of teams interested. At the top of the list are the Boston Celtics where the Sixers could potentially get a handy point guard like Marcus Smart.

Brett Brown Confirms?
For the Sixers, one thing that is obvious is dividing playing time among the big guys, Philly.com reported. Head coach Brett Brown admits difficulty in having this done, eventually asking one of the guys to play a position which may not be natural for him.
Instead, the Sixers can turn things around by exchanging some of their young big men for roster spots that need to be filled. Aside from the guard position, adding a wing player could make sense to free up the inside.
Noel has shown what he can do, same as Okafor. But if maturity is to be considered, such is something that Noel has over the sophomore center.
The only liability that Noel carries is his prone to injury. He may have come out of the last one successful though the recent one could show some changes. Noel is expected to return at some point in the season. It is likely that teams will monitor his return first before reaching out to Philly for a potential deal.
