Detroit Pistons have requested waivers of Eric Griffin. Forward Griffin was included in the training camp roster on September 28.
He featured for the Texas Legends in the NBA’s Developmental league last season. Playing in 49 games, the forward he averaged 19.0 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.3 steals and 2.4 blocks in 35.2 minutes.
Griffin, an Orlando native, played collegiate basketball at Campbell University. He was undrafted in the 2012 NBA draft.
Finally, the 6-foot-8 inches forward was placed on the waivers by Piston management. He practised with the Pistons team during a training camp but wasn’t able to play against the Indiana Pacers in Detroit’s preseason opener on Tuesday.
