Rediscover LeBron James in a new role, this time in “Cleveland Hustles” on CNBC. The Cavs All-Star will not only co-produce but also appear in the show. James has a vision, so the goal of the program is to create local jobs in Cleveland.
Maverick Carter, a close comrade of LeBron James, will be producing the series. James plays the lead role in the Cleveland Cavs team, but he shall also play a cameo in Cleveland Hustles.
The show will make its debut this summer on CNBC. James along with his friend Carter will be providing four local entrepreneurs a chance to fulfill their dreams of revitalizing a neighborhood in Cleveland. Carter and James will also acquire assistance from local business experts who will be mentoring the aspiring entrepreneurs. The goal is to develop businesses to create local jobs.
This is LeBron’s latest venture in the entertainment sector. Last summer, he appeared in Amy Schumer’s comedy “Trainwreck.”
James’ SpringHill Entertainment is also the producer of “Survivor’s Remorse” on Starz.
