Are we going to see Linsanity in a different form? Jeremy Lin wants to add another dimension to his stardom and popularity.
The Asian-American NBA star wants to shine in Singaporean pop star JJ Lin’s upcoming music video. The Charlotte Hornet star has shared his audition online for a lead role in JJ Lin’s latest video.
His video showing him feeling the beat of JJ Lin’s “Cao Cao” has fetched more than 50,000 likes on Facebook. Jeremy is happy about the feedback received in 10 hours. Hundreds of comments from his fans supported his new venture.
“If you become a music video actor, then I will definitely help get your YouTube click count up,” commented 邱伊 on Lin’s Facebook page.
Lin has displayed his multiple talents in the past when he showed off his Mandarin rap skills for Mother’s Day. His parents are Taiwanese immigrants, while his grandparents remain in the mainland. The Mother’s Day video became viral over the net and fetched 40,000 likes in less than an hour. “I heard you don’t believe I can speak Mandarin” was the title of the video.
The only issue is that JJ Lin has already chosen a model for his new music video. But the Hornets’ star is still hopeful about making it.
