NBA News: Eric Bledsoe Ruled Out For Indefinite Period With Due To Knee Injury

Bledsoe is expected to miss extended time with a knee injury.

Phoenix Suns suffered yet another jolt. The team not only suffered a humiliating defeat against the minnows of the league, the Philadelphia 76ers who headed into the game with 1-30 win record at home on Saturday; but also lost Eric Bledsoe.

Bledsoe is expected to miss extended time with a knee injury. The player underwent a knee surgery in 2014, a midseason injury that forced him to miss 33 games. This time, there are fears that Bledsoe has sustained a possible meniscus damage to his knee.

Bledsoe could be out till the All-star break, according to initial diagnosis. His damage could well require surgery.

Bledsoe underwent an MRI on Sunday and is considering all the treatment options available. Bledsoec was going through a purple patch in his career this season by averaging 20.4 points, 6.1 assists and 2 steals per game.

The Suns’ are going through a struggling phase. There are disturbances in the locker-room. Markieff Morris threw a towel at coach Jeff Hornacek for benching him during the previous game, as reported by the Morning News USA on Friday. Morris was suspended for two games by the team management. Now, after Saturday’s loss, Hornacek is facing the fire. The Suns have lost 15 out of their past 20 games.
