After the Golden State Warriors clinched the NBA 2014-15 championship, the attention of basketball fans has swung to the NBA drafts. As we approach Thursday night, fans await to find out the pick of Minnesota Timberwolves. Okafor or Towns, who would be their pick? The NBA drafts shall kick off at Barclay’s Center in New York on Thursday evening to end all speculations and rumors hitting the headlines regarding the superstars’ future.

D’Angelo Russell and Kristaps Porzingis are in the Lakers’ radar. There are doubts over Okafor’s conditioning, but the big offensive talent might make it into the Lakers’ roster ahead of the abovementioned two. If Okafor pairs comeback man Julius Randle upfront, Lakers’ front-court may evolve to a formidable one.

The Sixers seem to have decided on their top two picks. Since the Las Vegas workout, the Philadelphia 76ers are linked to Porzingis. There are strong rumors of D’Angelo Russell featuring for Sixers colors. The New York Knicks most probably are going to trade No4 pick. The Knicks can pounce on Porzingis if he’s available till the 5th pick.

Elfrid Payton is likely to become the point-guard for Orlando Magic. Mario Hezonja is on the franchise’s radar. Devin Booker, Johnson seems ideal for the Charlotte Hornets as they look for pure shooters. Phoenix Suns are going to gamble on Kelly Oubre.
