2K Sports is expected to release NBA 2K17 in September with the updates slowly molding the highly awaited game. Paul George will be the cover athlete for the standard edition, while Kobe Bryant will be up front for the Legend Edition.
As far as the game itself, added to NBA 2K17 were the Australian Boomers and Team USA. The official soundtrack is already out and folks who want to listen can do so via Spotify.
But the most important part is of course the teams and the players in NBA 2K17. With a lot of changes expected following a crazy summer, one team worth looking forward to are the Golden State Warriors.
Kevin Durant is of course the latest and biggest addition, technically making the Warriors the super team everyone has been branding. Together with the original Golden State stars Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, one can just imagine the overall ranking the Warriors will be getting.
NBA 2K17 Individual Rankings Are Already Scary
Durant is coming off a fine season and is obviously getting the same high attributes as always. He is expected to get an above 90s rating, safely around 93.
Steph Curry is likely to see a boost after winning another MVP plum unanimously last season. Obviously the best player in the mix, Curry is expected to have to highest of them all. FanSided predicts that he will likely get a 95, just a couple of notches above Durant.
How about Klay and Dray?
Klay Thompson is expected to get a fair rating as well though his slow start last season may cost him. He is likely to get high field goal attributes but will have an overall rating around 88 or so.
It is hard to believe that Green will get something better. While he does defend better, he was more inconsistent than Klay Thompson. FanSided gave him a 90, which doesn’t seem fit if compared to that of Thompson.
