Specifications, pictures and features leaking has become common these days. Motorola and Verizon’s “Droid Turbo 2” is the latest to join this trend. This time. neither picture nor list of specifications has been leaked; it’s a leaked print ad that Droid Life published on its website.
These ads make two things clear. One is that Droid Turbo 2 will sport a shatterproof screen and the other is that just like Moto X Pure Edition, “Droid Turbo 2” will be customizable. To be able to offer customizable phones, Droid Turbo 2 will be supported by Moto Maker which will offer countless combinations to choose from so that no phone looks similar to the other. Apart from color combinations, you can also be given material options like leather and ballistic nylon to choose from.
The leaked print advertisement claims that the latest smartphone from Motorola and Verizon will come with a shatterproof screen. Smartphone users clumsy when it comes to handling their phones can now rejoice.
Droid Life wrote in its article, “We still aren’t sure how Motorola plans to make the phone that tough, though, so we at least have that surprise ahead. On a related note, Verizon even plans to tie the shatterproof design into a promo where they will let you trade in a phone, even one with a cracked display, for up to $300 towards your new Turbo 2 (in the form of an account credit or gift card).” Now this is something that excites us further. Who would not like to get a phone with cracked display replaced for a brand new “shatterproof Droid Turbo 2?”
Release date: Now let us wait till the companies launch the phone on October 27.
