Moto G (3rd Gen) Receives Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update In Europe Via OTA

Once the Android 6.0 Marshmallow came to the market, it spread instantly across several regions, reaching out to various branded phones. The Moto G (3rd Gen) is the latest in the list to get its first taste for Marshmallow update in Europe via OTA.

Since the release of the latest Marshmallow software, a lot of smartphones have been receiving the update. To date, several Moto phones have got the Marshmallow update, and the Moto G (3rd Gen) phones started receiving the first taste of Marshmallow in December 2015. While the update rolled out to the units in United States, Canada and India, Europe recently joined the brigade.

It should be noted that the update is not the one that the 3rd generation Moto G received in other regions. The software version released in the US and India was 24.11.25.en.US, whereas the new version rolled out in Europe is 24.41.33.en.EU.

Fans will be happy to know that the update is already reaching to the devices via over-the-air (OTA). If you are in Europe and own a 3rd generation Moto G, then you will receive OTA notification in your device, reports Mobipicker.

GSM Arena states, that the roll out has already started, but if customers do not receive the update in their phones, they can check for it manually by going to settings.
