Reports hint at two Moto E variants, XT1700 and XT1706 that will share almost similar features. Both versions will share similar display, 12GB of inbuilt RAM, Android 6.0 Marshmallow and MediaTek MT6735P quad-core processor. Camera features include 7MP for the rear side and 4.7MP on the front, reports Android Pit.
The second-generation Moto E was released in February last year. It comes with a 4.5-inch screen powered by 540×960 QHD resolution. The processors include a Snapdragon 410 CPU clubbed with a quad-core 1.2GHz CPU and Adreno 306 GPU. The RAM capability is 1GB and the native storage space is 8GB. The rear camera sensor is 5MP and the front shooter is 0.3MP, which is not that bad for taking selfies and video chats.

After the recent announcement by Lenovo regarding the release of ‘Moto’ devices under the ‘Lenovo Moto’ brand, it indicates that the Moto E 2016 will be the first device to launch under the brand.
