Rumors circulated that Miley Cyrus was found dead last week but this turned out to be a hoax. The singer has already learned about the fake news, but decided to laugh it off instead of get furious.
According to a report from The Hollywood Life, the 22-year-old singer and actress did not mind the circulating rumors that she is now dead and even have a piece of advice to people behind it.
“Miley thinks that it is hilarious that she is the latest celebrity to be caught in the death hoax,” a source admitted.
In a report by Now8News that circulated early Monday, Miley Cyrus was reportedly found dead in her Malibu home lying in her bathtub.
Her lifeless body was allegedly found by her entourage after she had a prescription drug overdose.
The “Wrecking Ball” singer’s cause of death was reportedly not yet confirmed upon releasing the report.
Instead of getting furious over the fake news, the actress even gave advice to the people who started the hoax to think of a more credible reason of her death rather than settling with a bathtub.
“When it happens again she hopes the people who make the hoax think of a more clever way on the reason for her demise since the bathtub reason was pretty weak for her more morbid sense of humor,” an insider revealed.
Miley Cyrus was not the only one who became a victim of death hoax. Included in the long list were Silvester Stallone, Jaden Smith, Kim Kardashian, and Megan Fox.
Amidst rumors that Miley Cyrus is dead, the singer was evidently active in her Instagram page, even taking time to post a throwback photo of her.
In a cute Instagram photo, she shared what she looked like during her first birthday in 1993.
She captioned it with, “My 1st birffffday….. My dad says nothin has changed about me as I’ve gotten older… I still just half listen with only one ear out.”
She has also uploaded a poster of herself as one of “The Voice” judge as she promotes the upcoming reality talent show.
