Microsoft has posted the specs of Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL on its online store. The list gives out information about the display size, storage and more.
Prior to its Windows 10 hardware event, Microsoft accidentally listed the specifications of its upcoming smartphones Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL on its online store. These high-end flagship phones of Microsoft are expected to go on sale from October 26 in the U.S.
As mentioned in earlier stories, almost all of the specifications of these two phones are the same except their display sizes and batteries. Where Lumia 950 sports a 5.2-inch screen, Lumia 950 XL dons a 5.7-inch display. Other specifications like 20-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, 32GB internal storage, QHD OLED screen are exactly the same.
It is said that Microsoft is looking forward to compete with the latest iPhones – iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus – by introducing Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, Windows 10 smartphones that would be priced nearly as high as iPhones. With people loving Microsoft’s latest operating system, Windows 10, and the company making changes to almost all of its products to make them compatible with this new OS, how far will these phones go in terms of beating iPhones?
