The 18-year-old daughter of the POTUS and First Lady Michelle Obama was partying at Lollapalooza in Chicago on July 31, and during the set of Bryson Tiller, she was allegedly captured on cam hitting on the cannabis.
As parents to the teenager, what could be their take on the latest controversy involving their elder daughter?
It can be noted that prior to the release of Malia Obama’s photo allegedly smoking marijuana, several snaps of her enjoying some dance steps with friends leaked online.
In one of the photos shared by Daily Mail, the Harvard-bound First Daughter appeared to be twerking along with the crowd while wearing a pair of skimpy black shorts and top.
While she appeared busy enjoying her summer break, another guest at the festival seemed busy as well of taking of observing her.
Based on what Radar Online narrated, this eye-witness was the source of the leaked photograph allegedly proving that Malia Obama tried on smoking marijuana.
“I caught Malia smoke pot and I have the pictures to prove it,” Jerrdin Selwyn dished. “She was only a few feet away from me and you could smell the marijuana smoke coming from the cigarette she took a hit on.”
While this controversy continues to make headlines, the White House has kept mum. No reports of President Barack Obama or First Lady Michelle Obama coming out with an official statement about the issue were ever out.
On Twitter, there has been no post relative to the highly-controversial matter.
Looking at the POTUS’ posts since August started, everything was all about official concerns – from the country’s official delegation to the Rio Olympics 2016 to encouraging Americans to vote.
