Residents from Kent woke up to tremors at 4.2 magnitude early Friday morning.
The earthquake was recorded 2 kms west of Ramsgate in Thanet around 3AM, according to Sky News. at a depth of 15 kms.

This is one of UK’s biggest earthquake in years, according to the same report.
The tremors were also reportedly felt in Northern France.
There were no reports of casualties or injuries as of press time.
