Recently, Starbucks has been all about serving up the prettiest drinks around. For starters, they have just decided their secret Pink Drink an official part of the menu. Meanwhile, in Japan, Starbucks recently introduced the American Cherry Pie Frappuccino that comes with its own dome-shaped pie crust. Judging from these creations, you can’t help but think it’s possible Starbucks would be inspired by unicorns next.
The rumors of Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino are everywhere on the internet. The topic is even more prominent in a discussion group on Reddit dedicated to all things Starbucks. According to some users who seem to be working at a Starbucks, there are stores who haven’t received their recipe cards for the much coveted Unicorn Frappuccino yet.

On the other hand, it seems some people had the chance to sip some Unicorn Frappuccino from Starbucks lately. User hollywoodlc on Reddit seems to be showing off a sample cup of a pink drink with swirls of blue. The Unicorn Frappuccino is finished off with a generous amount of whipped cream that’s been dusted with blue and pink powders.

At the same time, Mike Fahey on Kotaku recently talked about the Unicorn Frappuccino too. He said it was his wife who introduced him to the new drink. “I must point out that my wife has worked for Starbucks for over a decade,” Fahey added. According to him, the Unicorn Frappuccino is supposed to be a mango drink that’s mixed with colorful powder. The blue syrup swirled around the drink is made with white mocha syrup, simple syrup and blue powder. Meanwhile, the colorful sprinkles on the whipped cream is actually “intensely sour sugar.” According to Fahey, ” It’s all about the spectacle. It tastes nothing like unicorn.”
If rumors are to be believed, the Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino will be officially launched on April 19. According to a photo of a promotional chalkboard, the drink is “made with only the finest rainbows.” Well if you love mangoes and rainbows, then this drink is perfect for you.
