Our favorite Disney Channel shows “Lizzie McGuire,” “Hannah Montana,” and “That’s So Raven” will have reruns courtesy of Freeform, E! Online said in a report.
Disney Channels’ sister channel Freeform will have a special programming block this month of May and is set to take fans back to the days of these popular teen shows. The timeslot will be entitled “That’s So Throwback.”
“That’s So Throwback” will air every Monday to Thursday from midnight to 2 a.m., Entertainment Weekly said.
On Fridays, fans will be treated with nostalgic feels as the network will air original movies that include “Twitches,” starring Tia and Tamera Mowry, and “Get a Clue,” with former teen star Lindsay Lohan. “Stuck in the Suburbs” and “Smart House” are also lined up for this month.
The throwback will start on May 2, as it kicks off with a two-hour slot of Lizzie McGuire and her misadventures with best friends Miranda and Gordo.
Lizzie McGuire will be followed by “That’s So Raven” and “Hannah Montana.” To cap off the night, “Kim Possible” will be shown, Bustle said in a report.
“Lizzie McGuire,” which ran from 2001 to 2004, tells the story of a character played by Hilary Duff when she was a 13-year-old. The actress is now 28.
In 2003, Lizzie McGuire hit the big screens on May 2.
Meanwhile, Raven Symone played Raven Baxter in the hit teen series “That’s So Raven” from 2003-2007.
The main character of “Hannah Montana,” a musical comedy series, was played by Miley Cyrus from 2006-2011 with an overall 98 episodes.
