Jabra has announced the Sport Pulse Wireless, a new pair of intelligent sport earphones designed for runners, cyclists, and other active individuals.
The Sport Pulse Wireless features an in-ear biometric heart rate monitor that works with the company’s Jabra Sport Life application which will plan, track, and evaluate the user’s workout and fitness activity which make it an all-in-one training solution for not only tracking as user’s current workout but also manage their health and fitness. Lastly, the Sport Pulse Wireless features personalized audio coaching to give users direct feedback during their workout.
The earphones’ integrated Dolby Digital sound technology also makes these fitness earphones still provide quality audio output to the user. And when coupled with the Jabra Sound app, users can also customize their music listening experience through creating and browsing playlists, sharing music, and access to a graphic equalizer.
Since the Sport Pulse Wireless are expected to receive a beating whenever used during a workout, Jabra has shelled the earphones in carbon fiber and have reinforced the wires and other housings of the earphone. Additionally, the earphones are also sweat and weatherproof.
Lastly, the new earphones also feature what Jabra calls Ergonomic Audio Response Science technology which ensures that the earphones will fit comfortable and securely in the users’ ears.
“Jabra has a strong legacy of innovation in wearable technology and Sport Pulse Wireless is no exception,” said Darcy Clarkson, Senior Vice President at Jabra Consumer Solutions. “These are world’s first earbuds to have a built-in heart rate monitor, heralding the next generation of intelligent audio solutions for fitness fanatics that allows our customers to work out with the confidence of medical precision.”
Jabra Sport Pulse Wireless earphones will be available starting sometime in late September 2014 at an SRP of around $199. Interested buyers can also pre-order the Sport Pulse Wireless earphones at the Jabra website.
