The movie, “Gambit” has finally found
The lead actress for the “Gambit” is just confirmed. As per Deadline report, Lea Seydoux will be seen alongside Channing Tatum in the Rupert Wyatt-directed X-Men spinoff.
As per previous reports, the Gambit franchise shortlisted Seydoux, “Mad Max: Fury Road”‘s Abbey Lee and Rebecca Ferguson of “Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation” for the lead role. The search ended with Lea Seydoux being offered the role.
The three actresses in question were put to a test by the studio in order to select the right match. Ferguson took the lead role in DreamWorks’ adaptation of “The Girl On The Train” and dropped out of it.
The Story Of Bella
Seydoux will be playing the part of Bella Donna Boudreaux in the movie. The character of Bella was first created in 1992’s “X-Men”. Bella had close connection with Gambit aka Remy LeBeau. The duo was lovers and at the same time enemies in the childhood. Eventually Bella gained her own power and became the head of Assassins Guild while Gambit became the head of Thieves Guild.
The French actress, Lea Seydoux is much known for her breakthrough performance in “Blue Is the Warmest Colour,” which was based on a French graphic novel by Julie Maroh. The movie released in 2013. In her upcoming movie, “Spectre” she will be playing Madeleine Swann. The movie is scheduled to release this November.
As far as “Gambit” is concerned, the movie is scheduled to be in theaters in October 2016. The filming of the same will start in October this year.
