Recently, there have been reports that Apple is looking to release a smaller iPhone in the near future. First, this smaller phone was dubbed the iPhone 6c, but recently, more and more have come to refer to it as the iPhone 7c. And while there has been no official word about this, China Mobile may have just given the clearest indication that the said smartphone is rolling out quite soon.
China Mobile unveiled a lot more than intended, especially where Apple’s newest phone and release date are concerned. During a recent press conference, China Mobile decided to present a road map to the media. On the said presentation was a possible confirmation of an upcoming iPhone 6c or iPhone 7c. Moreover, the said presentation revealed it will be launched in mainland China sometime in April 2016.

Meanwhile, Cult of Mac also says that China Mobile claims that the upcoming smaller iPhone will retail for around 3,200 Chinese Yuan or around $500. The iPhone 7c or 6c is expected to have an aluminum frame as well as a 4-inch display with a 1136 x 640 resolution. Moreover, it is likely that this new smartphone will have features like Touch ID, an 8MP rear camera and an NFC for Apple Pay. At the same time, it is also expected to be utilizing an A9 processor.
