Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney have found the person to officiate their wedding and its none other than the Dalai Lama.
The singer and the actor reportedly sought the Buddhist leader to preside over their ceremony which will happen either in Thailand or in India.
A source from Life & Style magazine revealed that the Paparazzi hit maker and her Chicago Fire beau asked His Holiness to marry them to which the Dalai Lama agreed.
“Gaga has now fast-tracked her wedding to be this fall because of the Dalai Lama’s schedule,” the insider told the entertainment magazine, adding that the singer is now learning Buddhism.
Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney’s wedding was initially planned in Italy or in Malibu but with the Dalai Lama’s nod to officiate their tying the knot, the two will have to lean towards Buddhism countries.
“It’ll be a colorful, spiritual and very un-Hollywood-style wedding,” the source added.
There were also hints that Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney’s wedding will be attended by their whole family, as the You & I singer previously said that it will be a “family style” wedding.
The 30-year-old singer said she will have a low key wedding, with the help coming from her mother.
“I think if I wouldn’t let my mom do this with all of us and my family—I think if I would of denied the women of my life the planning of the wedding they would probably kill me,” she told Ryan Seacrest, as reported by E! Online. “I have all the help in the world in a way!”
Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney dated in 2011 following their meeting in the singer’s You & I music video set in Nebraska.
They got engaged February last year after the 34-year-old The Forest actor gave her a heart-shaped diamond ring.
