The FX horror anthology, known for its theme changes each year, is off to a start by releasing the first keyword related to Season 5—“hotel,” generating heaps of theories from fans regarding what to expect this time around.
“American Horror Story” began its first season with “Murder House,” followed by “Asylum,” “Coven” and “Freak Show.”

According to Huffington Post, “Hotel” will air in October, with showrunners being very careful when it comes to spilling details about Lady Gaga’s role. It should be noted, though, that producer Ryan Murphy has said clues were cleverly placed in the fourth season.
“It’s an arcane clue, but it’s very purposeful,” Murphy told EW, referring to one of such clues, the image of a top hat, which the series showed labelled on coffee cups, a menu in a diner, and on Edward Mordake’s head.
In another article, Huffington Post speculates what “Hotel” will be about, with deductions springing from a line spoken by Denis O’Hare in the second-to-the-last episode of the fourth season: “I do know people in Los Angeles. My cousin works at the Garden of Allah.” The Garden of Allah, it turns out, was a renowned Hollywood hotel demolished in 1959.
The same article mentions rumors about Gaga’s role, citing a casting call received by bloggers of Vixen Varsity looking for three performers who could act in a promo for “AHS.” One role is that of Carla, a “classy 20-35 year old” possessed by a ghost. Such claim is yet to be proven, so viewers and Gaga skeptics don’t have much of a choice but to wait until the next season of “American Horror Story” airs in October on FX.
