Tyga and his friends allegedly attacked the two members of EDM band Cash Cash on Saturday. Reportedly, they had a noisy argument backstage at the Inception at Sea cruise festival before the fight broke out.
Page Six covered the news exclusively. On Monday, a representative of Cash Cash revealed the scary details of the fight. “Frontman Jean Paul Makhlouf suffered a concussion, Jean Paul’s kidney was injured, alongside bruises to Jean Paul’s head and body following the attack,” the representative said.
The representative implicated the American rapper and Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend Tyga and his friends over the assault. “One member of Tyga’s crew hit Jean Paul in the face following a verbal altercation when the crew of Tyga refused to get off the stage after the promoter called Cash Cash to start their performance which is already delayed,” the representative explained.
Later, on the official Twitter page of the American electronic dance music group, Cash Cash wrote that the fight affected their ability to play. “We are extremely bummed we couldn’t play for our fans and were completely disrespected by @tyga and his team. More on this coming soon…” the tweet reads.
Tyga’s camp might have difficulties denying these allegations because the band said there exist videos that captured the bloody fight. The group tweeted a photo of Jean Paul’s injured face and captioned this photo with a warning that reads, “videos are coming so you can see how barbaric and uncivilized some people can be…”
Allegedly, Jean Paul was kicked in the ribs and then slammed to the ground by Tyga’s friends. Cash Cash member Samuel Frisch was also allegedly pushed roughly during the incident.
How such a fight can ensue is still a mystery. Cash Cash and Tyga had a warm and friendly relationship prior to this event. The two even toured together back in 2008. Tyga’s camp is yet to comment on the issue.
