It was revealed earlier that Krysten Ritter’s TV series would renew its next season in late 2017. Since then, news about the filming of Jessica Jones season 2 has been one of the most expected announcements from Netflix.
While Netflix has decided to remain tight-lipped, it looks like Ritter has decided to give her fans a small glimpse at her preparation for Jessica Jones season 2. The actress revealed a clip hinting the start of the studio’s production for the series.
Ritter uploaded a video of herself training with retired lightweight boxer Ricky Quiles. Fans can check out the clip on Instagram below.
In the video description, Ritter tagged Marvel Jessica Jones, teasing her continuation on filming for the role. Fans can also check out an image of the actress posing with Rick Quiles below.
Marvel’s Jessica Jones helped pave the way for other TV shows as well. Luke Cage, played by Mike Colter, first appeared as a supporting character in Ritter’s series. Currently, the actor is being praised after the first season of his standalone show was released by Netflix.
While fans following Ritter are hyped by the recent tease, most Marvel audiences are currently distracted thanks to set photos of Jon Bernthal filming for The Punisher. Fans can check out the tweet below.
Marvel’s Jessica Jones season 2 is expected to release after The Defenders, a miniseries involving various Marvel TV series superheroes. As of now, The Punisher’s presence in the miniseries is not confirmed.
Recently, Jessica Jones also won a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music. The series was also nominated for Outstanding Main Title Design involving various members from the crew.
