Sixty-five-year-old former Olympian Bruce Jenner’s transgender announcement has earned support from his family. He is applauded for his bold declaration. Stepdaughter Kim Kardashian, 34, visited her father at his Malibu home on Saturday and spent 90 minutes with him after his interview with Diane Sawyer on Friday went on air.
She tweeted, “Love is the courage to live the truest, best version of yourself. Bruce is love. I love you Bruce. #ProudDaughter”
On Friday, Bruce made a statement in an interview with Diane Sawyer that he had undergone a gender transition. He said in the interview, “I am a woman” and that “I just can’t pull the curtain any longer.”
Jenner’s decision also received support from Kris Jenner, 59, who tweeted, “Not only was I able to call him my husband for 25 years and father of my children, I am now able to call him my hero.”
Kim Kardashian’s sisters, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian feel proud of their ex-father and tweeted their support for him.
Khloe tweeted, “Just finished watching the #BruceJennerInterview with the family. Bruzer, I’m soooo proud of you! Dads really are heros (sic)”
Kourtney, on the other hand, said, “Couldn’t be a more proud daughter. With courage and bravery, let’s change the world. I am honored to stand by Bruce’s side and support him. (sic)”
