America’s most popular couple Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are obsessed with each other as they could not help gushing over one another in a recent interview. West even went an extra mile and bizarrely compared his wife to Marie Antoinette, the 18th century queen of France.
“My wife is the face of the change [in] fashion, where designers who literally wouldn’t let her sit in shows are now making entire collections based off of her shape,” he told Harper’s BAZAAR.
“It’s funny, for Kim to be photographed so much, [she] represents our modern day Marie Antoinette. She gets hair and makeup every day, not just for a photo shoot. Why? Because every day is a photo shoot.”
According to a report by the Mirror.co.uk, Kim even dressed up like the wig-loving Austrian-born, Versailles-raised monarch, who was killed because her extravagant ways led her country into financial crisis, for a Hype Energy photo shoot. However, unlike the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, the monarch had little manipulative skills when it came to combating the political cartoons holding her responsible for the crisis.
The Mail Online reported that the couple will be featured on Harper BAZAAR’s September issue.
Wife Kardashian was also all praises for the rapper. The mother of two enthused over her husband’s sense of style, which is always ahead of its time.
“I swear he sees everything a few steps ahead of anyone else,” she said. “Kanye is a big part of my fashion story and my fashion transformation. He’s my best stylist. Every look I love is definitely something that he’s had a hand in helping to style or put together.”
Kardashian added that she and her husband love to spend time and effort into their looks and in staying ahead in the game.
“My friends and my sisters will say, ‘I’ve never met anyone like you two who will just sit in a closet for hours and try on clothes and cut things up and redesign them,’” she said. “We just love it, and we spend a lot of time on it. We do put a lot of effort into the looks and trying to stay ahead of the game.”
