Wimbledon 2016: Kate Middleton In A Recycled Dress Watching Serena Williams Trampled On Elena Vesnina

Kate Middleton showed off her sartorial style in a recycled yellow Roksanda dress as she made an appearance to watch the women’s semi-final match at Wimbledon in London on Thursday.

The 34-year-old royal was there at the championship to watch Serena Williams play unseeded Russian Elena Vesnina. She met and chatted with Serena and Venus’s mom and the ball boys and girls before taking her seat in the royal box.

Kate Middleton stood out in the vibrant dress courtside as she watched the match. The Ryedale dress is from the Serbian fashion designer’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection, Daily Mail reports. Her color block dress featured square neckline, short sleeves, and contrast white panels.

The above-the-knee dress flattered her figure and showed off her svelte frame. She accessorized with a pair of pearlescent drop earrings with gold edging and her engagement ring. Kate Middleton paired her dress with nude pointed toe high heels – Malory pumps by Rupert Sanderson and a metal watch.

The dress flaunted her toned arms and long legs. Kate Middleton last wore the Roksanda dress during her official visit to Australia in 2014. Her long brunette tresses were left loose over her shoulders in a side part and styled into glossy waves.

Kate met the British tennis player Greg Rusedski and told him that Prince George is already a fan of the sport and has his own tennis racket.

The Duchess of Cambridge is a regular fixture at Wimbledon and last year made an appearance with her husband Prince William, just weeks after giving birth to their daughter Princess Charlotte. She may be announced as the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club when Queen Elizabeth II steps down after 64 years as patron.

On Wednesday, Kate Middleton attended the Art Fund Museum of the Year Award at the Natural History Museum. She wowed in a bold cream off-the-shoulder dress for the evening gala. The Barbara Casasola midi dress featured mesh-panels, stretch-jersey detail, long sleeves, and showed off her tall frame and tiny waist, Hello reports.

Kate has been upping the glam quotient in recent engagements, and paired the midi dress with pink ankle strap high heel sandals by Schutz. She carried a silver metallic clutch bag to compliment her dress. Her hair was worn down in a side part and styled in her favorite blowout with waves.

In another related development, royal watchers were sharp to notice that Kate appeared to be levitating during the 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme in Thiepval, France on Friday, E Online reports.

It was just an optical illusion that made it look like the royal was floating in the air. It was due to the color of the footbed of her right pump that matched the ground.
