Kate Middleton’s post-baby look has amazed the world. The Duchess of Cambridge emerged from the Lindo Wing looking splendid and fresh after giving birth. She arrived at St Mary’s Hospital at 6 a.m. on May 2. Princess Kate gave birth at 8.34 a.m. She made her public appearance at 6:10 p.m., looking as beautiful as ever.
The true star of the event, however, was the tiny Princess of Cambridge whose name is yet to be announced.
The team of beauty experts
The expert behind the Duchess’ glorious hair is her personal hairdresser, Amanda Cook Tucker. She had also been cutting the hair of Prince William and Prince Harry for more than a decade, The Telegraph reported.
When Tucker arrived at the Lindo Wing, fans and media crew outside the hospital knew that the Duchess of Cambridge will be out soon. While Kate was seeking the service of other renowned hairstylists, Tucker is her beckon call during events she felt the most pressure, The Telegraph said. Tucker had also styled Middleton’s hair after giving birth to Prince George.
Tucker may have helped the Duchess for her post-baby make-up but Princess Kate is known to do make-up herself.
Duchess of Cambridge’s yellow silk shift dress, with a buttercup design, was a Jenny Packham creation. The dress was especially cut to hide her post-baby bump.
The Duchess of Cambridge’s PA, Natasha Archer, personally checks her outfit, making sure it is spotless and crease-free. She also personally checks if all her needed make-up and toiletries are readily available to her.
Royal Baby: The Princess of Cambridge
The Princess of Cambridge was born at 8:34 a.m. weighing 8 lbs and 3 oz. When she was introduced to the public, she was covered in a shawl and with a bonnet. Her name will be announced on Tuesday, May 5.
The Duke and Duchess waved to the crowd as Middleton carried the tiny Princess of Cambridge.
After some minutes of waving to the crowd, the Duchess looked at her daughter and told Prince William that “she’s fast asleep.”
“Do you think she’s cold?” the Duchess asked.
“No, she’s fine, she’s good,” Prince William said.
The Duchess was really concerned about the early evening chill.
“Let’s take her inside.”
