Friends of the 35-year-old Justin Bieber wannabee, Tobias Strebel, are already worried for his safety. The reality TV star who appeared in “Botched” is nowhere to be found since August 18, according to Los Angeles Police Department.
Strebel, whose claim to fame is undergoing $100,000 on plastic surgery just to look like Bieber, was last seen in the 1700 block of North Orange Grove Avenue in West Hollywood, ABC 7 reported. Friends told ABC 7 that going missing this long is very unlikely of Strebel.
“This is very unusual for him to be missing. He hasn’t done any, not shown up for no reason, no note or anything,” Mel Espinoza told ABC 7. LAPD is calling for anyone who knows about Strebel’s whereabouts to come forward with information.
“Botched” star dedicated to look like Justin Bieber
Strebel appeared in “Botched” in July. In the shows official Facebook page, he is described as someone who is dedicated.
“What brought me to Bieber was the whole package: the full cheeks, the full temples, the bright open eyes, the full luscious lips, and spatial framing…[he’s] just extraordinarily beautiful,” Strebel was quoted as saying in “Botched,” as first reported by US Weekly.
“Botched” follows someone whose plastic surgery has gone completely wrong. Anyone who is featured in “Botched” is in the show because he or she has sought the help of renowned plastic surgeons Paul Nassif and Terry Dubrow. The two surgeons will try to correct the failed plastic surgery.
