‘Justice League: Gods And Monsters Chronicles’ From Machinima Coming Next Month

Media and video game streaming website Machinima has partnered with Warner Bros. Animation and DC Comics to develop a new online series based on the Justice League. The partnership covers two seasons featuring the well-known superhero team.

“Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles” will be released next month, according to The Verge.

The series was announced last fall by Machinima.

“We couldn’t be happier to be announcing our first new digital series today, and we’re even more excited that it’s a collaboration with such accomplished storytellers as Bruce Timm and Alan Burnett,” Warner Bros. Animation president Sam Register had said in the announcement.

“Gods and Monsters” will highlight the darker side of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman through brand new origin story arcs.

Next month hopefully sees a full-length film, with the second season expected to be released next year.
