Chris Pratt, actor and well-loved personality, wasn’t wasting time when he wrote a long letter of apology with whatever it is he might say during his upcoming press interviews to promote his movie “Jurassic World.”
The film, starring Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D’Onofrio, Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, and Irrfan Khan, is slated to release on June 12.
The “Guardians of the Galaxy” actor starts his letter with a catchy first sentence: “I want to make a heartfelt apology for whatever it is I end up accidentally saying during the forthcoming #JurassicWorld press tour.”
The letter soon becomes a typical apology that celebrities often say or write after offending people with their opinions.
When asked about their opinions regarding Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johansson, Renner said, “She’s a slut.”
Evans played along, saying with a huge grin, “I was going to say something along that line … A complete whore.”
In a couple of statements to EW, Evans apologized. “We answered in a very juvenile and offensive way that rightfully angered some fans. I regret it and sincerely apologize.”
Renner also said, “I am sorry that this tasteless joke about a fictional character offended anyone. It was not meant to be serious in any way. Just poking fun during an exhausting and tedious press tour.”
Now fans can only hope that Chris Pratt was only joking in the letter. As for his movie, “Jurassic World” is expected to earn a monstrous $100 million opening in the box office.
