The official website of Josh and Anna Duggar has been taken down.
Days since Josh reacted to accusations that he had molested five underage girls when he was a teenager, his scheduled appearance in a Christian convention in Ohio has been called off.
An official statement from a Teach Them Diligently Christian convention said, “…Josh Duggar has withdrawn as a speaker at Teach Them Diligently in Sandusky. While we could fret or argue over what is truth and what is gossip in the recent media reports, we would rather change the focus for a moment to what God has in store for the families that will be arriving on Thursday for Teach Them Diligently in Sandusky, OH.”
TLC has already pulled out “19 Kids and Counting” from its lineup, despite the show still having full episode. The network came under fire on Thursday when it decided to run a show marathon. Thursday also marked the day Josh Duggar admitted to allegations of child molestation.
Josh told People how apologetic he is regarding his wrongdoing.
“I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation. We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing, and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling. I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life.”
