Amber Heard accused Johnny Depp of making measures to prevent his divorce from her.
According to “The Danish Girl” actress, Johnny Depp is requiring her to sign a non-disclosure agreement before he agrees to give out his financial information.
Reports said that the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor wanted her to sign two agreements which shall require her to shell out $100k for every leak of his financial information. Also covered in the fine is Amber Heard’s forensic accountant.
Amber Heard’s rep said that this is Johnny Depp’s way to thwart the progress of their divorce papers.
“[Depp] and his counsel’s demand for the execution of these two non-disclosure agreements which impose undue financial hardships and burdens on [Heard] are nothing but blatant threats by [Depp] and are illustrative of his continued attempts to thwart real progress in this case,” documents obtained by Us Weekly read.
Amber Heard filed the complaint after Johnny Depp requested her to keep their divorce in private.
The actor’s layers said to have requested “all documents produced by [Depp] in this action and/or any third parties subpoenaed in this action … shall be designated as ‘Confidential Information’ herein.”
This was Johnny Depp’s answer to Amber Heard’s filing of request to reveal his personal and financial information.
“Johnny does not dispute that Amber is entitled to the majority of the information sought in her discovery requests and subpoena,” the document by Johnny Depp’s lawyers stated.
On Tuesday, Amber Heard and Johnny Depp are scheduled to have a face off to discuss the divorce in court, TMZ said in a report.
Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s divorce was announced last May when the actress filed a complaint against her husband for domestic violence.
The two were married for 15 months before separating.
Currently, Amber Heard is being linked to billionaire Elon Musk and her ex-girlfriend Tasya Van Ree.
