Imagine if you can drink, keep traveling and get paid at the same time. Well, with this job, that’s basically all you need to do.
The Union Wine Company recently announced that it is looking to hire a “Canbassador.” That’s basically an ambassador for the company’s wines, including its line of canned wines. To make sure you are right for the job though, you need to answer a few questions.
“Are you adventurous, outgoing, and adaptable? Do you think living in a van is cool? Enjoy every day being different?” These are critical questions that you need to answer in order to determine if you can be Union Wine Company’s new Canbassador.
The company is looking to hit the road during the summer. And when it does, it will take along a hip mobile wine bar that is housed in a 1972 Citroën van. This is where the company’s Canbassador will be promoting Union Wine Company’s wines throughout the trip.
The gig is expected to last between one to four months at a time. It will include a good number of stops all over the East Coast. “We’ll be making pit stops at some of summer’s best music festivals, store openings and outdoor events,” the company said. Because of this, the applicant must be aware that the job will require several long hours. They are also expected to keep up a positive attitude while serving customers throughout their trip.
Canbassador job comes with various physical requirements.
At the same time, the job of a Canbassador also comes with certain physical requirements. For starters, you have to be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly. That said, you would have to pass a USDOT Physical Certification to even be considered. In addition, you should also be able to demonstrate an ability to drive a large vehicle with a trailer and drive a manual transmission vehicle. Moreover, you should also have great navigation skills and have no problem living on the road.
Since the job is also a marketing assistant post, the new Canbassador is also expected to be incredibly proficient when it comes to social media, design and photography. Most importantly, however, you must also have a deep love for wine.
As of the moment, the Union Wine Company offers canned wines in five varieties. There’s Rosé Bubbles, Bubbles, Rosé, Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. Moreover, the company’s Underwood wine range also offer several bottled wines. These include the 2016 Pinot Gris, 2016 Rosé and the 2015 Pino Noir. That’s a whole lot of wine to promote and enjoy on the road.
If you are interested in becoming Union Wine Company’s Canbassador, send a cover letter and resume to firstname.lastname@example.org. Be sure to apply by May 7.
