All Marvel films have been leading up to “Avengers: Infinity War,” and fans have been anticipating news that would pinpoint which heroes get to play a part. Despite the silence behind who gets to have a part aside from the main characters of “Captain America: Civil War,” Netflix may be the first to hint at possibilities.
Awaiting the release of “Captain America: Civil War,” Marvel Studios has already announced that “Avengers: Infinity War” is going to follow suit by 2017. However, not enough spoilers have been revealed, especially with regards to the TV heroes.
During an interview, lead actress for “Jessica Jones” Krysten Ritter revealed that she is anticipating final announcements that her role would be featured in “Avengers: Infinity War.”
She said, “That’s an interesting question because I love Jessica and I love any opportunity to play her. Obviously, it’d be really exciting to be a part of those giant, huge movies with those great characters who are already established, so it’d be awesome. … It’d be awesome if I got to pop up somewhere else. There’s always the chance that could happen. I don’t really know, they don’t tell me anything, so I’m totally stoked about the playground on Netflix,” reports Cinema Blend.
“Jessica Jones” and “Daredevil” are two Marvel Studios franchises garnering praises from fans and critics. Does the series’ popularity warrant Ritter a place in the cast of “Avengers: Infinity War?”
In other news, Cinema Blend also reports that although predictions from actors and actresses who have taken part in the Marvel Universe are exciting, it might not have been the case for Anthony Mackie’s.
During a podcast, the actor allegedly predicted that The Hulk will appear in “Captain America: Civil War.” However, despite his notions, that fact did not come to play.
