It’s time for Pippa Middleton to settle down, and that’s what the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge feel. Prince William has reportedly been advising Pippa on her career and future planning and that includes marriage to boyfriend James Matthews.
It looks like Pippa is abiding by what brother-in-law William said and keeping a low public profile, leaving few appearances at charitable sporting events. The Duke of Cambridge advised Pipa Middleton to let go of her not-so-successful media career and concentrate on charitable events and marriage.
According to a report by the Celeb Dirty Laundry, the Pippa Middleton, James Matthews engagement will happen in September. On the other hand, Pippa’s media career has not been booming in the recent months.
Middleton has not contributed columns for Vanity Fair or the Spectator for over a year or has nor written for the Party Pieces blog. In fact, the sales for her book “Celebrate,” which was published in 2012, did not meet expectations as well.
Another reason why William and Kate wanted Pipa to quit her media career was due to her association with the royal family. The royal couple was worried that Pipa would follow William’s aunt, Sarah Fergusson’s footsteps in publicizing her name using the royal link.
In May, Pippa moved in with Matthews to his plush £17 million (US$22.78 million) apartment, complete with an underground cinema and in-house gym, the Sun reported. The move took Pippa’s relationship with the wealthy hedge fund manager to the next level.
However, Pippa was spotted alone at the Wimbledon this year without Matthews. She appeared for the tennis tournament with her brother James Middleton, looking stylish in a fitted cream dress by Suzannah, the Daily Mail reported. The sister of the Duchess of Cambridge accidentally revealed a little bit more of her thighs than she intended in the royal box, while crossing her legs as she held on to the hemline of the cream dress.
However, this doesn’t imply that Pippa Middleton and Matthews are no longer into each other. Reportedly, a “save the date” card is also being circulated among close friends with a message that says, “Don’t Tell Pippa,” creating anticipation about the alleged engagement.
