After Apple released iOS 9.1, jailbreak teams are now looking forward to jailbreak this latest version of iOS 9. The teams are working on it but no one has announced success, not even a semi-jailbreak.
A report published on Pangu8.com says that not even experts are able to release a jailbreak method for iOS 8.4.1 or iOS 9. While explaining jailbreak and semi-jailbreak, the website wrote, “Still anybody couldn’t release the full functional jailbreak for iOS 8.4.1 and iOS 9. However Semi jailbreak team released the partial jailbreak for iOS 9, However there are not big difference between iOS 9 and iOS 9.1 beta, therefore we can expect that Semi jailbreak will work with iOS 9.1. However we haven’t tested it yet.”
The report further mentions that technical issues have been found in the semi-jailbreak releases for iOS 9. There was an “internal error,” due to which some apps are not working, but the problem might soon be resolved.
According to another report published by Yibada, developers are concentrating on iOS 9 jailbreak based on the 8.4.1 version. Many are still working on finding a jailbreak for this version of Apple’s operating system.
It looks like that Apple has learned a lesson from previous jailbreaks and has finally built a stronger operating system. However, we may see jailbreak teams releasing fully functional jailbreaks for iOS 8.4.1 as well as for iOS 9. With the current status, let’s not expect something more than a semi-jailbreak for iOS 9.1 for now.
