Jaden Smith death rumors are still doing the rounds on Facebook, in spite of the fact that he is alive. To add on to this, now there is a video of the 18-year-old bidding goodbye to his dad Will Smith.
The “Karate Kid” star got caught in a death hoax. A few reports claimed that he committed suicide while his dad Will Smith was promoting his new film “Suicide Squad.” It was also claimed that Jaden Smith allegedly took his life a few days after his 18th birthday.
Another section of reports said that Jaden Smith must have killed himself due to his girlfriend Sarah Snyder. Yet more reports claimed that the teen son of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith may have committed suicide due to “gender identity issues.”
This is not the first time that the teen has been subjected to death hoax. In 2013, it was claimed that the then 12-year-old died in a snowboarding accident in Switzerland.
Fans were however concerned about the teen star as the death hoax news appeared to be coming from CNN. But, when they click on to the link, it takes them to shady links, Mirror UK reports.
Jaden Smith has not yet responded to the death or suicide hoax. The star’s new series “The Get Down” premieres on Netflix on Aug.12.
He is set to play the role of Marcus ‘Dizzee’ Kipling in the new Netflix original series “The Get Down.” With his new series just scheduled to premiere in a day, the suicide hoax seems to be well-timed.
Was it the handiwork of Jaden Smith himself or his fans? Besides, Will Smith’s “Suicide Squad” also premiered on Aug.1. So is the hoax somewhere related with the timing of the film and the new Netflix show?
